Welcoming Grant Parsamyan as Coursera’s New Chief Data Officer

I’m excited to welcome Grant Parsamyan as Coursera’s new Chief Data Officer, effective July 21, 2025.

Grant brings more than two decades of experience building large-scale data platforms and leading enterprise-wide data transformations. He has helped organizations scale with speed and precision, bringing together data engineering, infrastructure, and analytics to drive meaningful business outcomes. Most recently, Grant served as Chief Data & Information Officer at Alludo, where he led data strategy, cloud modernization, and cybersecurity efforts. He also spent nearly a decade at OpenTable, building the company’s enterprise data organization and shaping a strong culture of data-driven decision-making. His earlier roles include leadership positions at Yahoo and eHarmony.

Grant holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems from the University of Southern California.

As Coursera continues to expand its global footprint and invest in AI-powered learning, data plays a foundational role in helping us serve learners, partners, and customers with trust and scale. From powering personalization features like role-based content recommendations and Coursera Coach to strengthening platform integrity and insights, data is central to delivering on our mission.
